Thanks for such a short and succinct post that I didn’t have time to get bored with! I think it’s exactly why micro blogging tools like Twitter are less boring than some alternatives. Is the implication that as long as ad messages are spread out over 3-6 minute periods, they won’t be deemed annoying? (especially if the message has some relevance/interest/value for the target?)

I would guess that a site like twitter with microblogging helps allay microboredom by being a quick read or by letting you dash off a quick note with an @. It’s funny, the three-to-six minutes time period is something I am familiar with as a mom, but I don’t think that I’m bored in those spare moments, yet.

Thanks for tracking down the definition of micro boredom. I thought it might mean that we’ll get bored with micro blogging tools like Twitter … but this sounds more like an opportunity for micro advertising.
